Easter Weekend

Hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend!

My weekend was full of fun, work, and family time - all well spent.

My newest friend Lauren decided to take advantage of one of the first gorgeous days of spring by busking in a downtown park! She took a guitar, a friend, and some lyrics and tabs, and played for the public - it all sounded fantastic! Amazing part is this - she has only been playing guitar since Sept '08 - and has already mustered up the courage to play in front of complete strangers - as well as puppies in the dog park across the park path.

Instead of busking for change, she decided to do the opposite - she put out a container of foil-wrapped chocolate easter eggs for passer-bys to enjoy! You can see the container in the bottom left of this quick snapshot I took of her playing.

Keep up the practice when you return home to Edmonton for the summer, Lauren!
